About Joanne Delaney

Joanne's experience in sales, combined with her enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of Ridgewood, give her a unique perspective on marketing homes and negotiating transactions. Joanne is consistently a top producer, a repeat member of the Tarvin Exclusive Multi Million Dollar Sales Club and was among the top 20 agents in Ridgewood Sales and Listings for the past 4 years according to New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS).

 

Joanne’s extensive sales experience and professionalism combined with her knowledge of the community provides her a unique understanding of real estate. Nothing gives Joanne more satisfaction than helping a first time home buyer find their dream home. In the current environment where multiple offer situations have become the norm, she has been instrumental in helping her clients navigate the buying and negotiating process. Joanne builds strong lasting relationships with her clients and stays with them through the journey from their first home to assisting them in downsizing to their forever home.

 

Joanne is a licensed Broker Associate and also holds Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Acredited Buyers Representatives (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) & Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) designations from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. She graduated from Fairfield University with a BS in accounting and economics, and earned an MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Following a career at Salomon Brothers and Manufacturers Hanover Trust in institutional municipal sales, she has devoted herself to fundraising in the community. She has chaired many events at her children’s schools, is a past president of the Ridgewood Branch of the Valley Auxiliary, volunteered as an art docent at a school in Paterson, and is also a Trustee of the Ridgewood Education Foundation.

 

Raised on Long Island, Joanne and her husband, Bob, a native of the Village, have lived in Ridgewood for almost 30 years. Joanne’s three children attended the Ridgewood schools, graduating from College of the Holy Cross, Lehigh University and Providence College. Bob’s four siblings were raised and currently reside in the Village.
