The Paramus Summer Food Truck Festival will arrive on August 14th, and we couldn't be more excited. This family-friendly event at Paramus Park Mall will feature music, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, shopping, and much more. There will be more than 20 food trucks available, and our agents have identified some of their favorites:
Angry Archies
If you're a fan of crustaceans, be sure to stop by the Angry Archies truck. In addition to crab cakes and lobster rolls, you can find chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, lobster mac and cheese, truffle fries, potato salad, and more. The selections may vary a bit, but one thing you can count on is that their crab poutine will be making a grand appearance at the event.
Uncle Sal's Gourmet Eggrolls
As you've probably already guessed, Uncle Sal's Gourmet Eggrolls has the tastiest and most unique eggrolls in town. The concept is simple—take a traditional dish such as a cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak, or even apple pie and put it into an eggroll. You'll even find more exotic fare, including eggrolls consisting of macaroni and cheese, jalapeno poppers, cookie dough, and more.
Hold My Knots
How do you create a truly unique food truck? You take the concept of a traditional slider and replace the bun with garlic knots. Hold My Knots has many different types to choose from, including buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, shrimp parm, cheeseburger, stuffed knots with bacon, pepperoni, or cheese, and many others. There are also plenty of appetizers, including french fries and nacho tots, in addition to family favorites like cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and grilled cheese.
Good Mood Truck
How can you go wrong getting food from something called the Good Mood Truck? Answer: You can't! This truck has tons of selections consisting of burgers, tacos, fries, and side items. If you're looking for something extra-special, pick up one of their truffle burgers and pair it with honey mustard bacon fries.
Who Cut the Cheese Lady
We're not going to lie—one of the reasons we included the Who Cut the Cheese Lady truck on our list was the name. Don't let that hold you back, though. This tasty food truck allows you to pick out your own bread and cheese, and then add a delicious stuffing inside. These include seasoned burger, BBQ pulled pork, potato chips, bacon, and more.
Rev Taco
Rev Taco —known to many as Revolution Taco—decided to take its storefront location and put it into a truck, and the rest is history. While we're not exactly sure which items will make an appearance at the festival, there's no doubt that you'll find tacos with ground beef, crispy fried chicken, and maybe even a Cajun or Southern delight. You can also surely expect quesadillas, fries, salads, and more.
Shake It Up Desserts
We couldn't end this list without mentioning at least one dessert hotspot for those with a sweet tooth. Shake It Up Desserts includes everything from ice cream shakes and fruit freeze drinks to frozen coffee and milkshakes topped with a piece of cake. This particular truck is featured as a partnership with Hold My Knots, so you can get your entire meal from two delicious companies in a single stop.
