Independence Day is just around the corner. This is a great time of year to live in Bergen County. Several local towns simply come alive with fireworks, parades, and community celebrations. Paramus Fireworks Cliff Gennarelli Sports Complex

The Paramus Fireworks Show takes place at the Cliff Gennarelli Sports Complex and is one of the town's biggest celebrations of the year. Gates will open at 6 p.m. on June 30th. There will be several food vendors on-site selling snacks and drinks. Attendees can either watch the fireworks from the field or their cars.
The fireworks will start going off at dusk, following a live musical performance by Raphael Valentino. This year's sponsor is Westfield Garden State Plaza. This would be the perfect show to attend after a day of looking at Paramus homes for sale.
Fireworks at State Fair Meadowlands:

If you're looking for a fireworks show on July 3rd, head to Fireworks at State Fair Meadowlands. They're having two shows this year: One on the evening of July 3rd and the second on July 4th. You do have to purchase a fair pass to attend the show.
This is a great option for families with kids since you can spend the day playing games and riding the rides before ending the evening with a fireworks show.
Ridgewood Fourth of July Parade:

The Fourth of July Parade is an annual tradition in Ridgewood. On July 4th, it begins at 10 a.m. at the corner of Monroe Street and Godwin Avenue. This year's theme is "United We Play." There will be floats, bands, and numerous costumed mascots participating in the parade.
If you decide to attend, make sure you bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Also, plan to arrive early to get an up-close view. Dress in red, white, and blue!
Ridgefield Park Fourth of July Parade and Celebration:

The Ridgefield Park Fourth of July Parade and Celebration has been taking place every year since 1894. This makes it one of the oldest parades in the country! This year, the event begins at 7:30 a.m. After the Declaration of Independence is read, there will be a Flag Raising Ceremony followed by the Main Civic Parade at 11:30.
The parade will feature several sporting associations, village organizations, and youth groups. There will also be a Baby and Youth Parade at 9 a.m. This earlier parade features children on decorated floats and bikes. Rewards will be given, and there will be plenty of great food to enjoy.
Ramsey Independence Day Fireworks and Celebration:
Finch Park, Ramsey, NJ 07446
If you happen to be looking at Ramsey homes for sale, consider attending the Ramsey Independence Day Fireworks and Celebration while you're in the area. This year's fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 6th, so they won't keep you out late on a weeknight.
The Ramsey celebration takes place at Finch Park and begins at 6:30 p.m. Finch Park has a great playground for kids, along with a sandbox, tennis courts, and lots of benches.
