Ridgewood Fourth of July Celebration:

This year's Ridgewood Fourth of July Celebration will be the 113th annual! The event will kick off with a Flag Raising in Wilsey Square, which begins at 9 a.m. This will be led by the Ridgewood American Legion Post 53, with local musicians performing patriotic music.
The annual parade begins at 10 a.m., with fire trucks, local bands, and plenty of exciting floats. The parade route starts at the corner of South Monroe Street and Godwin Avenue and ends at Northern Parkway and Meadowbrook Avenue. Both the parade and the flag-raising are free to attend.
Saddle River Bike Path:

If you're looking for fun ways to spend more time outdoors and see nature around Ridgewood, riding the Saddle River Bike Path is a great choice. This path begins in Saddle River County Park, a 500-acre park with several ponds, picnic areas, tennis courts, and athletic fields.
The Saddle River Bike Path is about 6 miles long. After leaving the park, it stretches through Glen Rock, Fair Lawn, and Paramus, near these Glen Rock homes for sale and Paramus homes for sale. Be ready to pedal past a gorgeous waterfall and lovely wooded areas.
Graydon Pool:

After a long day of looking at Ridgewood homes for sale, jumping into a pool is sure to be refreshing. The Graydon Pool is operated by the Village of Ridgewood and is open seven days a week through Labor Day weekend. Admission is $15 per person per day, and there are annual memberships available.
The Graydon Pool offers something for all ages. There is a lap swimming area, an ADA-accessible ramp, and spray fountains. The surrounding area also has Adirondack chairs, volleyball and basketball courts, and a grilling area with charcoal grills. Plus, there is an on-site concession stand serving hot dogs, ice cream, and other classics.
Van Dyk's Ice Cream:

What could be better than ice cream on a hot summer day? At Van Dyk's Ice Cream, you can enjoy some of the best homemade ice cream in the region. They have all of the classic flavors plus a few unique options like Raspberry Truffle and Cappuccino Oreo. Van Dyk's also recently introduced vegan ice cream, with peanut butter a customer favorite.
In addition to scooped ice cream, Van Dyk's offers milkshakes, and you can buy pints and quarts of their ice cream to take home for later. This shop has been around for more than 40 years and has become a local legend—rightfully so!
